Overview

Tobi, based out of California, is an online fast-fashion boutique and dress store serving women in over 150 countries worldwide.

With the motto to provide the best service to its 1.5 million customers across the globe, the Tobi team identified the need to enhance and improve its online capabilities. They have been providing an online shopping experience to their customers for some years now, but dramatic changes in the adoption of technology in recent times have made it imperative for them to revisit their proprietary e-commerce platform.

Problem Statement

Tobi wanted to increase their uptime and reduce any possible downtime during peak business hours. They also wanted to give a facelift to the user/customer experience and add certain features and functionalities to the portal.

Tobi selected Innvecta for this project after going through a comprehensive vendor selection process.

Strategy

Innvectra took stock of the existing portal and had a series of discussions with Toby’s IT team, but more with their business teams to understand the pain points, and areas of improvements and enhancements they believed would drive their business to new heights. However, they did not envision this to be a one-time project, but wanted a dedicated and skilled team to maintain, monitor, and enhance their e-commerce portal constantly. Our mandate continues to maintain and improve the portal to help them solve their current problems and scale their business.

Helped sanitize the database by removing all the products that were discontinued, discarded, and non-moving to have a clean and concise list of products that are active and moving
Implemented technological changes for better Search Engine performance
Improved the overall site speed through various optimization techniques
Enhanced User / Customer Experience
Ensures that the online portal is consistently up thus eliminating loss of business

ENHANCEMENTS

Improved the fulfillment, shipping, and last-minute delivery processes and workflows
Added new payment options that customers were looking for, but not available on the portal, helping in the retention of customers
Embedded Dynamic widgets to suggest or recommend similar and related products, and best sellers to the online shoppers
Provided the compliance requirement of Accessibility features to allow varied types of customers while they shop online on the Tobi portal
