Matchplicity aimed to enhance the user experience by adding key functionalities that were missing, including a centralized marketplace, automated talent-job matching, event publishing, student invitations, and payment gateway integration.

Strategy

At Innvectra, we conducted a comprehensive assessment of the existing application to decipher its architecture and functionalities and identify the necessary architectural changes. Our approach extended beyond mere rebuilding, aiming to transform the platform into an automated, feature-rich, and scalable solution. To achieve this, we strategically chose a technology stack comprising ReactJS, Node.js, MongoDB, Solr Index (search engine), and AWS S3 for the development process.

Our project scope was designed to cater to both current and future requirements, ensuring that the rebuilt solution would offer key benefits such as reduced time and costs through automated processes. In addition to this, Matchplicity sought several enhancements, including the integration of payment gateways, features enabling the invitation of students to community groups, and the capability to publish physical events on the platform.

Furthermore, we undertook a thorough architectural redesign of the application to bring it up to the latest standards and support multi-tenant and subscription models.
